23 March 2006 I really have been very busy, honest! My corset business has occupied a good amount of time, as has preparing for my first wedding show earlier this month. Finally, I get to make something fun and mad for myself: not strictly historical but I hope you will indulge me this once. I have oh, 36 hours to get it finished so will put pictures and blurb up next week. See you then! 29 November 2005 Hey, long time no update! Ah well, I moved house, redecorated every single room (apart from one full of my old flat, still in boxes) and am just about to start work on my next project - a woman's outfit from Florence 1595, based on a watercolour from the Album Amicorum. Cool! Pages for that will start to appear shortly. 16 July 2005 Okay so I couldn't leave it alone! I've done very little on the flat so my poor Dad is coming to help next week. What with that and the new Harry Potter book I thought I'd update the website a little. You can now see finished pictures of the Ghirlandaio project on the 'Finished Pictures' drop down page underneath the title - none of me wearing it since I drafted the bodice too narrow in the back, so even though I've lost 30lbs, it's still not quite right. I'll just have to make another one... 29 March 2005 In the middle of moving and buying a flat, I decided to upgrade to the new Sitemaker 4.0 programme. I'll need a few days at least to sort out the whole site so please bear with me and accept my apologies in the mean time!

2 March 2005 Moved old archives onto a separate page so this one isn't so cumbersome! Both the dress and camicia are finished now, although I haven't got photographs of them assembled or being worn - next week perhaps. I've updated the dress and camicia diary and have included some photographs of the 'in progress' work. The choice I have now is whether to save this for the Realm of Venus December showcase or go with my instinct and make something a bit later and more accurate... 13 February 2005 Big apologies - the site will be updated at the end of this week without fail. I am nearly finished the Italian but have a college deadline for EVERYTHING this tuesday - I shouldn't even be typing this! 5 January 2005 Finally updated the Ghirlandaio page but no pictures yet. I have to finish a cassock for this weekend but needed to update the site.
